Secure and transparent payment methods

BB Design Milano offers several payment methods, depending on the type of order, its value and the conditions shown during purchase or in the individual quotation.

Before the order is completed, the customer is informed of the total price, any additional charges and the applicable payment methods.

1. Credit, debit and prepaid cards

Payment can be made using major credit, debit and prepaid cards through the payment services available on the website, including:

  • Nexi;

  • MyPos.

The transaction is handled by the relevant payment service provider.

BB Design Milano does not receive full card details when these are entered directly in the payment provider’s secure environment.

Payment is charged under the conditions of the service used.

2. PayPal

PayPal is an accepted payment method at BB Design Milano and is available directly at checkout alongside the other payment options.

To pay, select PayPal during checkout and follow its secure process to confirm your payment.

For personalised orders and quotations, payment can also be arranged through a PayPal link sent by BB Design Milano’s official channels. PayPal’s service terms apply.

3. Bank transfer

Payment by bank transfer is available.

Bank details are provided during checkout, in the order confirmation or in the quotation documentation.

Customers are asked to include the order or quotation reference in the payment reference where available.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, an order paid by bank transfer is considered paid when the funds are actually credited to the account specified by BB Design Milano.

4. Start of production

For made-to-order, made-to-measure or clearly personalised products, production may be conditional on receipt of the payment or deposit specified in the order or quotation.

Where a deposit is required, production begins under the agreed conditions after the requested amount has been credited and, where necessary, after the technical specifications needed for manufacture have been finalised.

5. Deposits for bespoke products and personalised projects

For made-to-measure or personalised furniture, doors, tables, furnishings and other items, BB Design Milano may provide for payment by:

  • a deposit on order confirmation;

  • any interim payments linked to progress on the project;

  • a final balance.

Amounts, percentages and deadlines are stated in the individual order or quotation.

Paying a deposit does not alter the consumer’s mandatory statutory rights.

6. Order balance

Where a balance is payable, the remaining amount must be paid using the methods and within the time limits stated in the order or quotation.

For bespoke products, payment of the balance may be required before dispatch, collection or delivery where this condition has been clearly stated and agreed in the order.

Goods are delivered in accordance with the payment terms of the relevant contract.

7. Changes after order confirmation

If the customer requests changes after order confirmation and BB Design Milano agrees to carry them out, any additional costs will be communicated before the change is implemented.

Changes may also affect payment deadlines and production times.

8. PostePay

Payment by PostePay may be available for certain types of order.

If this method is not available directly at checkout, customers may contact BB Design Milano to check availability and receive instructions.

Customers must use only the payment details provided through official BB Design Milano channels.

9. Instalment payments

Instalment payments may be available for certain orders through Alma.

Depending on the amount, service conditions and the outcome of the provider’s checks, payment may be divided into up to 12 instalments, where this option is available.

Approval of an instalment payment request, the actual number of instalments and their conditions depend on the Alma service and are communicated before financing or instalments are confirmed.

BB Design Milano cannot guarantee in advance that the service provider will approve the request.

10. Payments for quotations

For orders based on a personalised quotation, payment methods, amounts and deadlines are those stated in the quotation and the corresponding order confirmation.

In particular, the quotation may specify:

  • the total amount;

  • the required deposit;

  • any progress payments;

  • the balance;

  • payment methods;

  • any conditions required for production to begin.

The specifications in the accepted quotation supplement the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

11. Protection against unusual payment requests

If customers receive a request to pay to details different from those previously provided, they are asked to withhold payment until they have checked the authenticity of the request directly with BB Design Milano.

In particular, any notification of changes to an IBAN or payment details must be checked using the official contact details published on the website.

BB Design Milano does not ask customers to disclose passwords, PINs or personal access codes for their payment instruments.

12. Prices and payment costs

Customers are informed of the total price and any applicable costs before being bound by the order.

Consumers will not be charged payment-method surcharges that breach applicable legislation.

13. Invoicing and documentation

Tax documentation is issued using the information provided by the customer and in accordance with applicable legislation.

Where required, customers must provide the requested tax details accurately and promptly.

For purchases made in the course of a professional or business activity, the information needed to issue the correct tax documentation must be provided.

14. Payments and personalised products

Payment for a made-to-measure or clearly personalised product is separate from the rules governing the right of withdrawal.

Where the requirements of Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code are met, the right of withdrawal may be excluded for goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised.

Rights under the statutory guarantee for any lack of conformity remain unaffected in all cases.

Balance, collection and storage of completed products

When BB Design Milano gives written notice that a piece of furniture, furnishing or other item is complete and available for collection or dispatch, unless otherwise agreed in writing the customer must pay any remaining balance in full and collect the item, or complete the arrangements required for dispatch or delivery, within five (5) calendar days.

If the product remains at BB Design Milano beyond that period because of non-payment, failure to collect, unavailability for delivery or another circumstance attributable to the customer, a storage and safekeeping charge of €10.00, including VAT, will apply from the sixth day for each additional calendar day.

The charge does not apply to delays attributable to BB Design Milano, a carrier directly appointed by BB Design Milano, force majeure not attributable to the customer, or during a different period agreed in writing. The full provisions are set out in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Payments for Italian and European customers

The checkout offers the payment methods shown to the customer, including PayPal, cards through Nexi and Revolut, Alma for eligible orders and bank transfer.

For personalised or bespoke orders, dimensions and technical details may be finalised with BB Design after ordering, in accordance with the confirmed financial terms.
